Botanical Gardens at 19 Birch Lane

19 Birch Lane is evolving into one of the most distinctive botanical gardens in Midcoast Maine — a thoughtfully curated landscape designed to celebrate horticulture, seasonal beauty, and meaningful connection to nature. While known today as a boutique botanical wedding venue, our long-term vision extends beyond private celebrations to include limited public access for garden lovers across Maine and New England.

In the coming seasons, we plan to welcome a select number of guests for seasonal garden tours, educational lecture series, plant-focused workshops, and intimate botanical events. These experiences will offer visitors the opportunity to explore curated perennial borders, flowering shrubs, ornamental grasses, and specialty plant collections within a peaceful, intentionally designed setting.

Unlike large public gardens, 19 Birch Lane will remain an intimate botanical destination — offering guided garden tours, horticultural discussions, and seasonal gatherings in a refined and immersive environment. Our goal is to create a place where visitors can slow down, learn, and experience the evolving beauty of a living landscape rooted in Midcoast Maine.

As our gardens continue to mature and expand, 19 Birch Lane aims to become a recognized botanical garden destination in Maine — one that blends design, education, and natural beauty in a uniquely personal way.
